We are seeking a Tax Supervisor with strong technical expertise and leadership skills. The ideal candidate has experience preparing and reviewing complex returns, managing client relationships, and overseeing team members. This role combines hands-on tax preparation with supervisory responsibilities, offering a clear path to growth within our expanding firm.
Responsibilities
Prepare and review tax returns for:
Corporations (1120, 1120-S)
Partnerships (1065)
Individuals (high-net-worth focus)
Review and support trust/estate, nonprofit (990), and foreign taxation work (a plus, but not mandatory)
Supervise and mentor staff, providing guidance and technical review
Manage client communications and serve as a primary point of contact
Assist with tax planning strategies and accounting adjustments
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
Qualifications
5+ years of tax preparation experience in public accounting
Strong background in 1120, 1120-S, 1065, and individual returns
Experience with trusts, estates, nonprofits, and foreign taxation a plus
Proven ability to manage staff and oversee client engagements
Solid understanding of accounting principles and adjusting journal entries
CPA candidate preferred (active progress encouraged)
Strong communication and organizational skills

Collaborate with senior staff and partners to serve clients effectively

Qualifications
3+ years of tax preparation experience in a public accounting firm
Proficiency with 1120, 1120-S, 1065, and high-net-worth individual returns
Knowledge of trusts, estates, and nonprofit returns a plus, but not required
Strong understanding of accounting principles and journal entries
CPA candidate preferred (not required)
Detail-oriented, motivated, and seeking growth within a dynamic firm
